The point is I'd like for log-mode to be just like the normal agenda, except that it also lists DONE items. I think maybe log should just force org-agenda-skip-scheduled-if-done to t. That'd make sense, wouldn't it? Or maybe I'm just extrapolating my own use case too much, I don't know enough about org usage patterns to be sure. But I do know that I'd like a function to review my past appointments/timed todos.
