If possible, avoid using system paths at all. The behaviour you describe
can be replicated with something like

#+begin_src sh :results output
  for i in `seq 1 4`; do
      echo "autoload"
  done
#+end_src

#+results:
: autoload
: autoload
: autoload
: autoload
