D'oh. I'm sorry. I didn't read carefully enough. This DOES fix my problem. The problem is in STORING the link, not in matching. I was misdiagnosing the problem. So when I stored a NEW link, the problem goes away. Sorry. I was not clearly realizing that old links would still be busted.
