I can confirm the behavior. Exporting agenda with org-agenda-add-entry-text-maxlines set to any non-zero value causes Emacs to eat cycles endlessly and has to be interrupted. The behavior is same when org-agenda-add-entry-text-descriptive-links is set to nil or t.
