should rather be replaced by `.' or `<' than by (without simple quotes) < The `...@samp' marco is used for Texinfo source code, while simple quotes (`') are to be used in docstring. With my version of org, both `<' and `.' work, but maybe the prefix (`.' or `<') should be some customizable string.
