The bias is probably mine, since I only vaguely understand when
`org-fold-reveal' is useful. The docs are quite terse on this variable,
and there's little I can find on it in the info file. When I use `C-c
C-r' anywhere with any amount hidden headlines, nothing happens, so I
basically never reach for that binding (unlike `C-c C-c'). Do you reach
for it starting with sparse tree or agenda or so?

Easy to add to either hook of course. One question: if you are inside
emphasize text, will it reveal that text /and/ whatever surrounding
context you have configured in `org-fold-show-context-detail'? That
might be surprising to folks.
