Hello Ihor and Jacob and sorry for my long silence, life got in the way.

Thanks for working on my bug report, I've followed your patch in commit f974e85 and intended to report back.
I think something's still off, the refiling doesn't work for me.
To test your patch I checkout the orgmode repository (currently at commit 7235abf) and use it instead of the version in emacs, then disable my hackish workaround (described in this thread) and for good measure even restart emacs.

In the following orgmode file, however, the refile fail for me with the same error ("The kill is not a (set of) tree(s). Use ‘C-y’ to yank anyway").

Does it work for you? Am I doing something wrong?
