The thing to watch with class D amps is that the Keying waveform will be significantly modified (Rise and fall Times) and this could lead to keyclicks by distorting the K3's keying waveform . Mostly Class D amps are keyed at the Finals for this reason.
I am using my K3 on 500KHz in conjunction with an old NDB amplifier. this AMP was low level Carrier + sideband followed by linear PA stages to 100W.
