Zero chance without re-designed LCD hardware. I suppose they could implement an menu option to make the RIT offset "sticky" and the VFO-B readout temporary (i.e., after the VFO B knob is moved the display would show the vfo b freq for a few seconds; otherwise the RIT offset, if any, would be displayed).
