The band switching interface of the FL-7000 is the same as that of the newer Yaesu Quadra. N0SS has interface info for the Quadra on his K3 web site: www.n0ss.net/index_k3.html This link: www.n4ats.com/?download=D4000019_Schematic.pdf shows the conversion from the Quadra "Band Data" jack to the FL-7000 "Band Data" jack. Molex connector body and pin part numbers are available on the N4ATS web site to build your own cable.
