I believe with some of the newer firmware, 3.03 and later, the K3 will cover above 30 MHz which would allow a standard XV144 to cover the full 4 Mhz. just as the k144xv will. Not sure how much IF rolloff there is but for FM, I'm sure it's better than any FM only rig!

Make your choices according to your needs. As with other things in life, there are always trade-offs! :^) Don, K5DW ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
