If you guys worked WY5I on 40M CW that was me operating at the Jupiter Tequesta
Radio Club here in South east FL,from 10PM to 4AM EST.
My K3 operated as expected,no problems at all and it was very easy to select
stations within the mess using the 500Hz roofer plus the DSP narrowed down to
100Hz,what a delightful radio to work a contest,I was very pleased with
it,.even was hot here the PA kept running up no more than 40 degress,I had at
the begining a unknown PS brand that quite when I used 100W out even it was 20A
and replaced it by an Astron 35A and finished with that one with no problem.The
antenna was a long G5RV with a swr of 3 to 1 but the K3 builtin tuner matched
it down to 1.1 with no problem,I could also made few contacts on RTTY/PSK-31
easily.
