The old trick of using a light bulb for a dummy load, isn't a dummy load either. I had a Q with a fellow in Texas, from Ft. Collins Colorado, in 1967, on a pair of phased inverted vees.... an inch or so long....held in a vacumn by a clear round glass.
I believe it was rated at 60 watt. I, for one, am very happy that we don't have to use light bulbs any longer... and I am ecstatic that we don't have to, but may choose to use things like tubes... but best of all..
