The old trick of using a light bulb for a dummy load, isn't a dummy load
either. I had a Q with a fellow in Texas, from Ft. Collins Colorado, in 1967,
on a pair of phased inverted vees.... an inch or so long....held in a vacumn by
a clear round glass.

I believe it was rated at 60 watt.

I, for one, am very happy that we don't have to use light bulbs any longer...
and I am ecstatic that we don't have to, but may choose to use things like
tubes... but best of all.. I am very pleased to be able to build a top of the
line radio, with parts and pieces that arrive in a box.
