To completely erase your transmit message: Tap REC
Tap the Memory you want to erase. Immediately REC again to stop. That works because starting a new recording in a memory location completely eliminates whatever was in that location. A fraction of a second of recording effectively erases all 16 seconds because the playback stops automatically at the end of the recording. I don't believe there's a way to completely erase the Received audio recording other than by recording over the whole 90 seconds.
