The MC-50 at the 600 ohm setting is speced for -76 dBm output, while the MH2 is in the range of -45 to -55 dBm - that means you will need 20 to 30 dB more mic gain with the MC-50 than with the MH2. All microphones are not created equal, and do not have similar output levels.
