My memory of how I connected my K2 to this Ubuntu 8.10 computer has
faded over the last year. Although the Ubuntu version then was 7.04,
the computer was the same.
I have been attempting to configure the com 1 serial port with the
root command:
serial:/dev/ttyS0?baud=4800+stop=2+parity=none
The reply is "file does not exist."
I see file size for ttyS0 as 0 bytes. Could it be that I need to
create a special ttyS0 file? Since I do not remember that step before,
I am a bit lost here.
Maybe there is a configuration program for com port config that does
not expect to write to a dial up modem!.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
