Ha, ha!!! I bet those tube tables helped you pass, Bob!

My favorite practice to maintain a decent fist on my bug is to send a page
out of the phone book in TEST mode: addresses, phone numbers and all.

If I can make a whole page without a flub, I'm happy.

If I can play back what I sent and find it easy copy, I'm even happier, Hi!

I'm glad to know not all of us dinosaurs are extinct.

Hi Ron
Looks like we are of the same vintage.
I was a 1952 Novice too.

I remember working every day on my code, sturggling up to 13 wpm. The night
before I took the bus into Seattle for the General test, I had a buddy send
me some code practice for a final tune up.

So, he launched into this string of stuff that made no sense to me at all.
I had to ask him, what was he sending? Turns out he was sending the index
to the tube tables in the back of the handbook! :-) Really had me going 'til
I understood what was coming at me.

Great days those were.
