I would.  :=)  I'm not a hardcore ham operator, and
one of the big selling points for the K3 for me was
getting   excellent broadcast radio receive capability
(say, on par with a Drake R8B or AOR7030).  (I
currently run a K2-100 with which I'm very satisfied.)
