In the last couple of weeks I received an MFJ product from the well known main importer in the UK. I just checked - there is no trace of CE marking anywhere on it. A few years ago I bought another MFJ product from the same dealer, and it came with a CE label torn off from a reel. I had to peel off the backing paper and stick it on myself!
Clearly there is no reason to delay the shipment of K3 kits to EU buyers because of CE certification issues, but it would be nice to have official confirmation from Elecraft that they won't be delayed. Whether fully built radios should be delayed for the same reason is another matter, but it would seem that in the UK at least, nobody could care less! -- Julian, G4ILO K2 s/n: 392 K3 s/n: ???
