Six meters is VERY addictive. I started back in the late 60's with a Lafayette 1-watt AM transceiver (HA-650), and worked all over the country and even down into South America with just a squalo antenna on my Dad's chimney in MD when the band would open. Now I just use a 6-meter dipole, and I monitor six as much as I can. There have been some great openings this summer - and you can find plenty of SSB and CW when the band opens. Looking forward to the K3 where I can leave the second receiver on the SSB calling frequency (50.125). I have a friend who has DCXX and WAC on 6 meters from here in the Dallas area. Phil - AD5X
