Its been five or six years since I built my K2/100, and I don't remember what I would need to do to increase my vox gain. R14 on the KSB2 is 5.6K. I want to use the Heil Goldline GM-5 dynamic mike. Should R14 be increased or decreased to keep the vox from dropping out between words? If vox is set to .4 it doesn't hold in quite long enough, and if it is set to 1.0 it holds in too long. I have configured the K2 front panel mike connector so the 5 V is present for electret mikes and not in the circuit for dynamic mikes (wired for Kenwood). Thanks.
