Looking at the new diagram, it looks to me like there is a 'flaw?' in the design of the way the separate antenna is done in the K3.
It looks to me like there is no way to have a separate RX antenna input that goes through the low pass filter that is part of the antenna input module, or the antenna tuner module. ONE of the things I plan to do with the K3 is to excite 2 other transmitters (not at the same time) using the antenna 1 and 2 outputs, and have the RX antenna connection hooked up to an RX port on the station control. Antenna 1 and 2 wont be hooked up to antenna's, only the rx antenna goes to the antenna. I did that with the 756 pro. I wonder if I will take any hit in performance by the rx path not going though the low pass filter. The only way I see to 'fix the flaw' would be to make the low pass filter separate from the antenna input module or antenna tuner module. That would add cost and complexity I suppose.... I doubt I will get much interference from frequencies above the operating frequency, and don't know where the low pass filter (s) rolls off, if its different filters switched per band, or what.... Got to be switched per band I guess, since the rig goes up to 6 meters...
