Hi Clark,
Home Depot or Lowes sells Scotch gray electrical tape. Putting in the
appropriate connecters seems a better idea. Mine have been left open since
1999, and nothing has crawled in yet (and we have a lot of stuff crawling
around down here). We'll maybe something has crawled in, but the radio
still works. Good thing about a K2 is that it is so reliable that you never
have to take the cover off to check.
