George, It takes 2 to 3 minutes depending on how fast you can take out 6 screws, disconnect 4 cables, connect the 1 to 4 cables from the QRP top and re-insert the 6 screws.
If you do not want to do that amount of effort or will be making the change often, it is easy to mount the KPA100 in an EC2 enclosure (or mount it with the KAT100-2.
