The ultimate would be the optics my dentist uses. They're about two inches long and look like mini telescopes that she wears. I asked her how much they cost, and she replied, "About a thousand dollars". I've got an appointment next Wednesday: I'll ask for more details. Until I was forty four, I didn't need glasses. Now I use off-the-shelf reading glasses: 2.5 diopters magnifies everything to better than before I needed glasses.
