Running my KPA1500 with firmware 3.06:

Using KPA1500 Remote on an Intel NUC running Windows 11 Home *on the same
subnet as the amplifier*, I can connect to the amp as expected via Connect
Local or Host Remote. If the amp was previously OFF, it turns itself ON.
KPA1500 Utility can also connect to the amp whether it's initially ON or
OFF. This is all fine.

However, if I try to connect using the same programs on a Macbook Pro M1
Max running Parallels Desktop and Windows 11 Pro *remotely from a different
subnet* connected via a Ubiquiti site-to-site VPN, the programs fail to
connect to the amp when it is initially powered OFF. If the amp is ON, they
connect properly.

This seems like a Wake On LAN issue. On the KPA1500, Wake On LAN is set ON.
But does the Wake On LAN function work only with connection requests from
the same subnet? If so, is that a feature or a bug? Could KPA1500 Remote
and KPA1500 Utility have any control over this?

Thanks,

/Rick N6XI
