Good Evening,

   I tuned across twenty meters around 10 AM local time.  I heard a few stations and a great wall of noise.  At 2130z I scanned again.  Much less noise with more signals.  Whatever was going on during my earlier test was gone by net time.  However, there was some noise left over with a moderate level of QSB.

  Forty meters had at least one thunderstorm.  It was not very close.  QSB was about the same level as on 20 m.


  On 14050.5 kHz at 2200z:

W0CZ - Ken - ND

K6XK - Roy - IA

W8OV - Dave - TX

K4JPN - Steve - GA


  On 7047.5   kHz at 0000z:

K0DTJ - Brian - CA

WM5F - Dwight - ID

K6PJV - Dale - CA
