Hi all, My old Yamaha CM-500 is starting to show serious signs of wear — especially the headband, which is now broken — so I'm looking for a replacement. I recently picked up a pair of Bose QC25, which I find very comfortable to wear and great sounding. Now I’m looking for a microphone that performs close to the CM-500, but hopefully a bit cheaper than the Antlion ModMic Uni 2, which seems to be a popular choice with the QC25.
A few questions: Has anyone tried the Geekria Boom Mic (or similar mics for QC25)? How’s the audio quality, build, and fit? Any problems I should be aware of? Any tips on EQ or TX audio settings to help get the mic sounding as close as possible to the CM-500? Thanks in advance for your advice, experiences, or audio samples! 73, Samir, sm7vzx ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [email protected]
