I employed human intelligence and ran up to my shack. K3 serial no.
00007 has a 6-32 grounding screw.
Remember, AI provides what it thinks is the most probable series of
words as an answer. It does not have a concept of 'truth' like ours. And
it's excessively sure of itself.

It depends on which AI you ask. Per Grok:
Bill, the ground screw on the Elecraft K3 transceiver’s rear panel
is a 6-32 thumbscrew. It measures 1/2 inch long with a 3/8 inch
diameter knurled head (part number E700070). This secures the ground
connection using two #6 flat washers.

Interesting. Perhaps AI isn’t all it is being touted.
According to the K3S Manual, the ground screw is a #6-32
thumbscrew, Elecraft Part Number E700070.
As I recall, it is at least 1/2” in length (probably 3/4”), but it
has been a long time since I had the ground screws out of my K3s.
It also has two #6 flat washers on the shaft.
I would note that the same thumbscrew is used on other Elecraft
products.

The ground screw for the Elecraft K3S is a 4-40 (SAE) threaded
screw. A 4-40 screw has a number 4 diameter and 40 threads per
inch.
Although the exact length can vary depending on what you are
connecting, the manuals (Elecraft) often refer to using 1/4" or
3/16" screws of this type for internal assembly. For a ground
connection, you would use an appropriately sized lug and wire
that matches the screw's thread (Elecraft #E770091)
