Wanted to check before tearing the K3S apart. PTT IN on the back panel
does not work. When I ohm it shows totally open with power off. Good K3
has resistance reading and 5 V present when powered. PTT works on the
front Mic jack and also via the 15 pin ACC plug. This is a used radio I
obtained. Acts like the line is not even wired internally but wanted to
double check that there is not anything that can inhibit that jack.
Personally I think it is disconnected somewhere inside the radio. Mike K4PI
