I have a 4-band K1 with the antenna tuner, and even though I also have a KX2 I doubt I will ever part with the K1.  It is a terrific QRP rig.

Since yours doesn't include the ATU, you might consider one of the N7DDC derivative automatic tuners.  They are portable, have their own internal rechargeable battery, and work well.  I have a 100 watt version and my friend has a 20 watt version.  Do a search on Amazon for "ATU-10-0A Shortwave Automatic Antenna Tuner 20W 1.8-30MHz". There are several others, but that one (the exact same as the one my friend has) currently runs abut $80.

The last 3 weeks I have been building my Elecraft K1 Transceiver. It has the 4
band option and the noise blanker option. I wished it had the internal antenna
tuner option. It is complete and operational. I bought the kit from a ham who
never built it in 2009. I guess it had aged enough for me to build it. What a
sweet rig it is.😊
