The problem was excess current to the PA and opening of the PA breaker on the rear of the K3 while I was running about 75W carrier from the K3. Using the K3 I was a was discovering with high SWR for several minutes, the correct SWR 1:1 tuning points on a newly modified external manual antenna coupler. Closing the breaker with the correct low SWR settings of the antenna coupler permitted the rig to resume 100W operation.

At that point, the problem occurs, and the power cannot be increased above 10W. The power supply voltage is constant at 13.8VDC and does not glitch when the error occurs. Thoughts? Would appreciate help. 73, Buzz W3EMD -- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. www.avast.com ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
