That’s actually easy. The computer program doesn’t know what the current 
configuration is in the KAT500. The configuration may have been changed using 
another computer. Also, it cannot automatically download the configuration in 
the KAT500 since that may be corrupt. Basically, it leaves things up to you to 
know what the best configuration is, and if you want to load one from the 
computer, you may do that. Note that you can have multiple configurations saved 
on the computer - you get to select which one you wish to use.

Someday we will have computers that can read your mind. We aren’t there yet. We 
haven’t even figured out how my wife seems to be able to read mine…
