I have this exact same setup but I reverted back to a seperate mouse and
keyboard for the radio. To many times I would forget to switch the keyboard
and would start typing only to realize I was sending to the wrong device. The
same with the mouse. It was a pain to have turn it over to switch devices. I
often need to switch between the remote monitor and the Windows machine where I
have my logging program, WSJTX, etc

The logitech mouse I now use with the radio has a switch on top to change
between two devices (K4 and Windows). I connect to the K4 via the receiver and
to the Windows machine via Bluetooth. I use the windows machine for ham stuff
and rarely need the keyboard for the K4 but do use the mouse all the time with
my external display. The keyboard I use with the Windows machine still has the
ability to switch to the K4 or Mac with the touch of a button on the keyboard
if I needed. Since I use a separate keyboard for the Mac I really have no need
to switch.

Having said that I have still been known to use the wrong keyboard though not
near as frequently as before. :-)
