Hello Pierre, There is no procedure. It is programed in the radio's firmware. All Elecraft radio's do this. You can contact support about getting the K2 firmware programmed specifically for the Thailand amateur bands. They probably have dealt with this before.

That country is very strict about licencing of transceivers and require that they cannot transmit outside of the local Ham Bands limits. Your manual v1 shows on page 95: "Transmit Limits: Some countries require transmit to be disabled outside of specified amateur bands. If you key the transmitter with the VFO set outside fixed limits, you'll see End on the LCD." Where can I find precisely the procedure to execute, I did not find it in the manual. 73 - Pierre - FK8IH ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net/ Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to markmus...@outlook.com ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
