3806 kHz (We met on 3828 kHz due to lots of activity this evening on all
frequencies up to there), 9PM ET Sunday (0200Z Monday).
Thanks to the following check ins (w) and relays (rel):
Call State Radio/Amp Name
1 N8SBE MI K4D/KPA500 Dave (w),(op)
2 WB9JNZ IL FT101D/KPA1500 Eric (rel),(w)
3 WM6P GA K4D/KPA1500 STEVE (w)
4 K1DIH CT K4D/TokyoHiPower Brian (w)
5 W9PCS WI K4D/KPA500 Paul (w)
6 W2APF NH K4D/KPA1500 Thaire (w)
7 KA0RTM MN TS-590SG/KPA1500 MIKE (rel),(w)
8 KF5LNM AR K3s Albert (w)
9 KD9RRS WI IC-7300/KPA500 Mark (w)
10 N5ZM AR K4D/KPA1500 Earl (w)
11 WW4JF TN K3s/KPA500 JOHN (w)
We had a total of 11 check ins this week (including the NCS). Most
signals were good all around, except the barefoot station, KF5LNM.
Thanks to KA0RTM for the relay to pull that station into the net. For
the most part, 80M was in good condition overall. Very nice hearing
from the new check ins and hope to see all of you again. The net
concluded at 9:46 PM ET.
In spite of the recent frequency change, the turnout continues to be
very encouraging. We ended up on 3828 kHz tonight because there were
solid QSO's all the way from the bottom of the General band at 3800 kHz
up to where we met at 3828 kHz.
I've also noted that sometime after the net started that 3809 kHz became
clear. I continue to monitor adjacent frequencies to see if we can find
another one close by that will work better for everyone. In the
meantime we will continue to attempt to meet on 3806 kHz. If you go to
https://netlogger.org at the net starting time, you should see the
frequency we are using that evening.
Looking ahead, we will NOT meet on Christmas Eve or New Year's eve, so
we will have one more net before the end of this year.
Hope to see you next week!
73,
-- Dave, N8SBE
