I think K4D is a direct sampling SDR, no such thing as a discrete filter in sight, Crystal or otherwise.
K4HD module will revert a K4D back to an old fashioned superheat front end with a fixed first IF so you can fit filters but I don’t know if any outside Elecraft knows what the centre frequency will be. Probably only worth it if you’re a multi multi station or have 1500 watt neighbours half a mile away.
