Hi Mike,

I would first reduce the TX power control
for a setting less than 10 watts.  That will
bypass the KPA3 100 watt PA module via
the relay K1 on the KPAIO3 board.

If that restores your RX background signal
level to be comparable to that observed
when you put the same antenna on the
RX Antenna input port, then it's likely that
one or more of the PIN diodes in the T/R
switch on the KPA3 board has been damaged,
OR it's possible that one of the RF chokes
that supplies the DC switching voltage to the
PIN diodes has opened up.

If that test doesn't restore your RX background
signal level, then check that the KAT3 ATU is
still enabled in the CONFIG menu.  If it is enabled,
then set the KAT3 to 'bypass' by holding the
ATU button until BYPASS is shown on the screen.
If that doesn't restore RX background signal
level, then you may have bad relay in the KAT3
ATU.
