I did not a very dumb thing and transmitted into my XG-3 with 50 watts. It still works but the signal is attenuated. Looking at the schematic it appears that there is a protection diode in the output that I suspect has been damaged. It is a surface mount device and I am unable to repair it due to eyesight issues.
