I believe I heard of this "problem" before. It needs to be addressed
with the N1MM+ folks for a possible fix.

This appears to have been a problem from the time of the introduction
of the P3. It seems to be triggered when a frequency command is
issued to the radio via the P3 comm port. Is there any hope on the
horizon for curing this extremely annoying "feature"? There's
absolutely NO reason for the P3 to decide to change the span limits
by itself once they've been set up on a band. Maybe if we complain
every couple of months someone at Elecraft will take notice and get
it fixed.
