How does one know what "BAND" the K2 is set for?
Hi Fred,
The K2 firmware does have a notion of what band you're on. The way
*you* can tell (usually) is to look at the VFO frequency. However, it
is possible to tune outside the normal band limits, possibly even into
the next band's territory. If you do that, you'll notice that the
receiver sensitivity will get a lot worse. But in any case, the way to
get back to the correct band is to do "direct frequency entry,"
described in the manual.
