I made the first contact tonight using my new K2. It worked perfectly just as I had expected. So I now have two K2s and only room for one of them. I going to offer the new K2 for sale. It is the basic K2 serial number 5439. I have added the headers and front panel parts for the SSB option, so that the radio doesn't have to be disassembled to install the KSB2. It also has the jacks for the KPA100, KAT2, KBT2, ect. Also it has the header for the KNB2. The radio was built very carefully and performs just as it should. I built my first radio kits over thirty years ago with the Heathkits and have built many Elecraft rigs over the past few years. I think anyone would be happy with the workmanship on the radio. It's new, mint condition. I want $800 for it shipped to your door in the USA. If interested please contact me off list.
