We never see it.  All of the saved daylight ends up on
the other side of the world.  It's a little-known fact
that Daylight Savings Time was invented by the
government of Fernando do Torishima to scam an extra
hour of daylight from the west to keep the 20m band
open longer over there for visiting DXpeditions.
