I have a K3 with the K144XV 2M Internal transverter for 144 MHz and I want to use a linear and an external mast mounted preamp for 144 MHz. This preamp must be switched out of the transmission line before any TX power goes to the antenna.
In the K3 manual the setting TX DLY adjusts the delay between keying the TX and RF coming out. However the manual only describes this for CW. Does TX DLY also apply in SSB or DATA? In other words when I use the Digital Voice Recorder for calling CQ on SSB will the RF be delayed by the number of ms specified in TX DLY? And does this delay occur at the HF output 1.8-50 MHz and at the output from the Internal transverter for 144 MHz? 73, Palle, OZ1RH www.oz1rh.com OZ9EDR/OZ5W/OZ2RF/OZ1HQ contest teams www.oz9edr.dk ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [email protected]
