No power output on 17 meters. I was on 17 meters SSB and not getting
response to calls. The red tx light was on but no power output from the
KPA500. I could push the XMIT tune button and get power out but nothing
using the hand microphone. I powered the Amp down and tried again and red TX
light on but no power output from the K3s. I checked to make sure I was not
out of band. Powered the K3s off and back on and still not working. Went to
20 meters and everything works fine, go back to 17 and same problem. Go to
15 meters and working fine but still not working on 17 meters. After
powering the amp and radio down several more times it starts working again.
Besides yesterday and the weekend it has happened before but don't remember
which band but powering the amp down and back on seemed to fix it. Anyone
have any idea what is going on?
