Steve, There are only 4 signals (AUXBUS, 8R, VRFDET, and 12CTRL) to deal with, so only 5 conductors are needed. The cable supplied with the KPA100 or the KIO2 normally used for the computer connection (4 C + shield) will do the job if you use the shield as the ground connection. Since you need both the KIO2 and the KPA100 to mount the KPA100 externally, you should have 2 of these cables already.
