A corollary to what Ron has stated is: Everything is simple once you have learned how it is done.

Our society seems to denigrate those who seek knowledge. If we never ask questions, never make mistakes, none of us would learn anything. Therefore, ask your questions be they simple or complex. You are to be admired for your perseverance toward your goal.

I have a dumb question. I have a BL1. It has three connectors in which
to make a connection. If I want to use 300 ohm or 450 ohm feedline,
which connectors am I supposed to use? The connectors are marked 1,
GND and 2. Would I use the same connectors for a dipole versus a loop?
Thanks,

1 and 2 are your balanced outputs. Ground simply connects to the shield of
the coax leading to the BL1.

Yes, to the dipole vs. loop. 1 and 2 for either.

Dumb question? No. Just a question. Questions can't be dumb. Only those who never speak up to ask a question are dumb ("dumb" means unwilling or unable
to speak: mute).
