Hi Jim, The first thing to try is to perform a parameter reset on the P3. With the P3 on, hold down the MENU and PWR keys. Note, this will reset any function keys you may have set up.
The frame rate will slow when the span is very narrow. For example at 2 KHz span, the frame rate will slow substantially due to increased sampling.
