Hello all, The Pulpit Rock Polar Bears will again be on the prowl for contacts. On Sunday, November 13, 2005, a group of Polar Bears otherwise known as hams, will meet on the AT in PA. Pulpit Rock sits at an elevation of 1582' in the Blue Mountains just above Hamburg, PA. I will again hike the 2.5 miles up to Pulpit Rock. WA3WSJ, as usual, will hand out a gift to my FIRST contact. I started this two trips ago so here is the Polar Bear Gift this time. It's a museum quality replica of a polar bear claw. Yes it's beautiful and it's around 3.5 inches long!
