Hi Barry, It works really well and the physical package and it's implementation is well engineered. If you have a poor 6 meter antenna (such as using your tuner with an existing antenna) and just want to try out the band you probably don't need the PR6. Chances are you will only be able to work stations that you can currently easily hear. But if you have a directional antenna and want to enjoy the band openings the PR6 will make those weaker stations easier to hear.
